Goals start with one run,
Every step adds up, it’s never done.
Without these steps, no change will be seen,
Dreams take effort to grow and mean.
When a path is blocked, push through and be heard,
Your voice is your power, let it be stirred.
Let the world know your name and your aim,
There’s no joy without some pain.
There’s nothing more special than power inside,
To push through the storms and not allow dreams to slide.
Be a better version, each day you strive,
With courage and heart, you’ll surely thrive.
Each step you take today will pave the way,
For greater strides that come with each new day.
Be who you set out to be,
And live your dream endlessly.

This poem was inspired by my journey to become the best version of myself. Especially this summer, it’s been difficult to find who I truly am, but I’ve pushed through walls and overcome many obstacles along the way. This has helped me make small improvements every day.
