I was born in a culture where women are expected to give themselves to their husband. I grew up in a community where women are mandated to know how the kitchen works, how to mend a home, and to be a mother. I wouldn’t blame them, unwavering the roots of life has been implanted by the one who was destined for a child bed— mothers. We as young girls are taught how to do household chores, preparing for a role that has been destined for them. When I was a little girl, I was always curious as to why society works like that. It seems to me that the roles and responsibilities of men and women differ from each other, though both were made from the same soil and came from the same breath.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy
As we move forward to modernization, women equality has increased rapidly.
We have kept fighting way back As the sun sets and the moon rises, at the same time, almost every woman has been fulfilling the societal entity of their gender. The womb that was designed to fight wars that blades and shields can’t contain, it holds the destiny of the future. What is the future without women?
Ceased in a bed full of discomfort, serving the realm of atrocities, that has been silenced for centuries, but amidst everything , why do we keep fighting for the freedom that was supposed to be free?
Hail Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
I can’t continence the ideology of the belief that every woman is expected to find a husband. To what extent do a woman need to garner for society to treat them as equal?
For years, we have battled wars worse than bombs and guns, we battled the expectation of society, the expectation of being perfect; the concept of the traditional curse.

Now and at the hour of our death
but we won’t stop, though we may befall by the hands of the suppressed. the power of a woman will light through a burning fire that nobody can tame.
As we carry the future, and hold the past, together we will build a present that no man shall take upon a freedom that we once bought.

We are still stuck in an ideology of superiority, its time to break that curse. We are equal, from the same soil, same breath, and same grave. Stand for what is right and true.
